Dongui Academy Signs Agreement to Establish Subsidiary-Type Standard Workplace for Disabled
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Dongui Academy Foundation signed an agreement with Hannal Communication, Jaeho Food, and the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled on January 31 at the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled.
Through this agreement, Dongui Science University under the Dongui Academy Foundation will establish the subsidiary-type standard workplace for the disabled called the ‘Global K-Food Research Institute’ together with Hannal Communication and Jaeho Food.
At the K-Food Research Institute, Dongui Science University will be responsible for Korean food research and education, producing meal kits; Jaeho Food will conduct research on K-Foodization of seafood products suited to the characteristics of the Busan region and distribute meal kits; and Hannal Communication, a preliminary social enterprise, will handle distribution and sales as well as foster talent among disabled researchers.
