[Featured Stock] MindsLab, the Revenge of Korean-style AI... Targeting Japan and Global 'Limitless Expansion'
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyungsoo] The stock price of MindsLab, a comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI) service company, is rebounding in the afternoon. The news that it is entering the Japanese market with its Human AI (human-type AI) appears to be influencing the stock price.
As of 2:22 PM on the 6th, MindsLab is trading at 27,150 KRW, up 3.04% from the previous trading day.
On this day, MindsLab announced that it will participate in 'HCJ 2023,' a Japanese hotel and catering service exhibition. MindsLab's Human AI solution is installed in kiosks by the Japanese company ALMEX, welcoming visitors.
MindsLab is introducing AI humans that provide guidance in four languages?Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English?on its AI cloud platform 'maum.ai.' ALMEX sought an AI partner to combine artificial intelligence with its existing kiosk products to offer convenient customer service. Noting that MindsLab possesses all the related technologies, ALMEX prepared the exhibition together with MindsLab.
A MindsLab official explained, "The noteworthy technical points are providing stable AI services based on the cloud and the AI human responding to customers quickly within one second." They added, "This means that the maum.ai platform can provide immediate service not only in Korea but anywhere in the world," further stating, "It raises expectations for limitless future scalability."
