[Photo] Kim Jong-wook, Chief of Coast Guard, Directing Underwater Search at 'Cheongboho' Abalone Accident Site
On the 5th, Kim Jong-wook, Commissioner of the Korea Coast Guard, conducted an aerial search related to the capsizing accident of the trap fishing vessel Cheongboho in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, and directed the underwater search site using a small boat from the on-site command ship 3015. The Cheongboho, a 24-ton nearshore trap fishing vessel registered in Incheon, capsized after water flooded the engine room around 11:19 PM on the 4th, 9 nautical miles west of Daebichi Island, Imjado, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.
