Yuhan-Kimberly Launches Childcare Product Business... First Release of Greenfinger Baby Bottle
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 1st that it is officially launching its independent childcare product business with the release of the Green Finger Bebegrow Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) baby bottle.
The new baby bottle was researched and developed at the Yuhan-Kimberly Innovation Center. Considering consumer preferences for domestically produced nursing products, it is entirely manufactured and supplied in Korea. The baby bottles are available in two types based on capacity: 160ml and 280ml, and the nipples come in five stages.
The new product features two air valves to facilitate air circulation and prevent colic. A guide was also added to easily check whether the nipple is properly latched. The bottle has a wide opening design to make both formula pouring and cleaning easier. Compared to existing products, the measurement markings are extended by 1.5mm to clearly show feeding and remaining amounts. An ergonomic design reduces strain on the hands and wrists, and an over-cap that is easy to open and close with one hand is also applied.
Depending on the baby's growth stage or temperament, simply replacing the accessories allows the same baby bottle to be used multifunctionally?from handle bottles to straw cups. This enhances compatibility and aligns with the universal design trend to prevent unnecessary additional purchases or resource waste. Thanks to the inherent characteristics of the lightweight yet durable and heat-resistant PPSU baby bottle, it can be sterilized and cleaned in various ways, including boiling and dishwashers.
Along with the new product, a design baby bottle that embodies aesthetic beauty and a message of protecting endangered wildflowers will also be released separately. Green Finger collaborates with the Chollipo Arboretum by contributing funds to conserve wild plants endangered due to climate change and habitat loss. To expand consumer empathy and interest, they decided to launch a design baby bottle inspired by wildflowers.
