99-Year-Old 'Donation King' Scholarship Foundation Chairman Booked on Housekeeper Sexual Harassment Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Kyung-jun] The chairman of a scholarship foundation, known as a philanthropist, has been booked on charges of sexually harassing a housekeeper multiple times.
On the 31st, according to the police, the Hyehwa Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A (99), the founder and chairman of the scholarship foundation, on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act (sexual harassment by abuse of authority at work).
Mr. A is accused of sexually harassing Ms. B five times over the course of one month starting from October last year. In response, Ms. B filed a complaint against Mr. A with the police earlier this month and requested personal protection.
