Cube Entertainment Signs Business Agreement with Multichain Middleware Platform Bifrost
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Cube Entertainment announced on the 31st that it has signed a new partnership with BIFROST, a multi-chain middleware platform operated by blockchain technology company PiLab Technology (PiLab).
Through this business agreement, Cube Entertainment plans to actively develop the NFT and DeFi ecosystems via BIFROST’s own mainnet, the BIFROST Network, accelerating the expansion of its blockchain business.
The BIFROST Network is a new EVM-compatible blockchain utilizing Substrate technology to realize true multi-chain services, providing an optimal environment for building multi-chain DApps. This will offer Cube Entertainment’s blockchain business a highly interoperable multi-chain experience, and various tools will be supported so that multi-chain DApps leveraging BIFROST Network’s reasonable fees and fast finality can be immediately utilized.
Cube Entertainment is a major entertainment agency with top-tier artists such as (G)I-DLE and BTOB, and based on its existing entertainment business, it has been steadily pursuing new ventures since last year by entering the metaverse-related business incorporating blockchain technology.
