According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 31st, the positivity rate among short-term foreign visitors arriving from China to Incheon International Airport on the 30th was 0.9% (3 positive cases out of 316). Over the past three days, their positivity rates have remained low at 0.4% (1 person) → 1.5% (2 people) → 0.9% (3 people).
There is speculation that the COVID-19 epidemic situation in China may have passed its peak and is stabilizing. The health authorities stated that the positivity rate fluctuations among short-term foreign visitors from China may vary daily, and they evaluate trends through weekly analysis.
Since the 2nd, a total of 41,503 people have entered through airports from China. The airport test positivity rate for short-term visitors dropped by 0.4 percentage points from the previous day, reaching a cumulative 9.5% (750 positive cases out of 7,875).
