By receiving drone training every weekend, the members’ drone operation skills have improved, enabling them to utilize drones in various related tasks as well as volunteer activities such as disaster situation filming and missing person searches.
In fact, last year, they were deployed in search activities for missing persons in Hyeonsan-myeon and Songji-myeon within the jurisdiction, successfully rescuing missing individuals on two occasions.
Additionally, on the 20th, the Haenam Drone Training Center located in Hyeonsan-myeon was recognized as a professional training institution by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. In the first practical exam conducted, Lee Dae-ju, head of the Council Secretariat, and Kim Tae-beom, team leader of the Construction and Urban Department, passed and obtained the ultra-light flight device operator license (Unmanned Multicopter Class 1), steadily increasing the number of members acquiring related certifications.
Bisang has signed business agreements with the representatives of Dreamda Drone Training Center, Gaon Aviation, and Haenam Drone Professional Training Center to provide systematic drone education.
Furthermore, in October last year, they signed a drone operation support business agreement with nine civil, government, military, and police agencies to establish a drone collaboration platform, participating in building a joint response system for rapid rescue activities in emergency situations.
