Mr. A immediately called the Chinese restaurant to complain. The restaurant responded by saying, "No one smokes in the kitchen." When Mr. A sent a photo of the cigarette butt, the restaurant made an absurd excuse, saying, "(It's not our fault) it came together from the starch company."
Mr. A asked, "Where should I report this?" and additionally released a recording of the phone call with the restaurant.
The recording contains Mr. A's complaint to the restaurant owner. After hearing the restaurant's ridiculous excuse, Mr. A said, "You shouldn't say that," to which the owner responded confidently, "Then what should I do?" Although all posts by Mr. A have been deleted, they were saved and are spreading across various online communities.
Netizens who saw the story reacted with comments such as, "Blaming the starch company," "Why escalate the issue? They should just apologize and be careful," and "Aren't they afraid of being sued by the starch company?"
