Drone Shots Taken from the Sky ... Leaving Haeundae Beach and Me Behind
Busan City Operates 'Panorama Haeundae Service'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan City is operating the ‘Panorama Haeundae Service,’ which simultaneously captures landscapes and people as if taken by a drone.
The panorama service can be used by scanning a QR code with a smartphone at the photo zone on the white sand beach in front of the Haeundae Beach Tourist Information Center.
When the shooting button is pressed, two high-definition cameras installed on the rooftop of the tourist information center about 100 meters away capture the tourists’ images and the Haeundae scenery, then send them via email or smartphone.
This service overcomes the limitations of the existing method of shooting with a smartphone or selfie stick at tourist attractions, allowing subjects and scenery to be captured simultaneously with an optimal angle.
The city plans to produce a reels video demonstrating how to use the Panorama Haeundae Service in collaboration with social media (SNS) influencers and post it on the YouTube and TikTok VisitBusan channels.
Additionally, a prize quiz event commemorating the service operation will be held from February 8 to February 28 through Busan City’s tourism portal, VisitBusan.
