The round outline has two bear eyes precisely positioned, and the rock in the center resembles the bear's mouth and nose. The MRO captured this photo on December 12 last year from an orbit 251 km above Mars. The University of Arizona research team believes this terrain is likely the remnant of a broken vent at the center of an ancient crater.
