[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] HK Innoen has delivered scholarships to children and adolescents with diabetes through the step donation campaign "Georeumen Innoen".
At the scholarship presentation ceremony held at HK Innoen's Seoul office in Jung-gu, Seoul, a scholarship fund of 50 million KRW, raised for children and adolescents with diabetes, was donated to the Korea Pediatric Diabetes Association. The event was attended by HK Innoen CEO Dalwon Kwak, Korea Pediatric Diabetes Association President Kwanghoon Kim, and other officials.
HK Innoen conducted the third season of the Georeumen Innoen campaign in collaboration with the Korea Pediatric Diabetes Association for one month starting November 7 last year. The campaign was designed to deliver a message of hope to children and adolescents with diabetes and to create a society of coexistence through easy participation in step donations.
In the third season of Georeumen Innoen, a total of about 16,000 participants, including HK Innoen employees and the general public, achieved a total of 820 million steps, exceeding the target of 500 million steps by 163%. This also resulted in a carbon reduction effect equivalent to planting up to 20,000 pine trees.
