Busan Citizen Library Reveals Last Year's Popular Borrowed Books Ranking
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Busan Metropolitan Citizen Library analyzed 476,342 books borrowed in 2022 and revealed the top 20 popular borrowed books in the general, youth, and children categories.
Last year, the most loved book among Busan citizens in the general and youth categories was "Almond" by author Son Won-pyung, and in the children’s category, it was "Why I Swear" by author Ryu Jae-hyang. Both books were selected as One Book One Busan titles.
In particular, "Almond," selected as a One Book One Busan title in 2018, ranked first in both the general and youth categories and second in the children’s category. Additionally, many other One Book One Busan selected books were chosen as popular books.
