Busan Gupo Library, 'Sky Land Sea Star' Picture Book Exhibition
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Municipal Gupo Library will hold a picture book exhibition titled ‘Sky, Land, Sea, Stars’ in the first-floor lobby from January 26 to February 26.
This exhibition will display a total of 80 books, with 20 books each on the four themes of ‘Sky,’ ‘Land,’ ‘Sea,’ and ‘Stars.’
The exhibited books were provided by the Busan Library and selected by four Busan picture book reading clubs: ‘Eonjena Manna,’ ‘Subuksubuk,’ ‘Kkumgil,’ and ‘Iyagi Beot.’

Among the exhibited books are ▲ ‘When the Wind Stops’ by Charlotte Zolotow and Stefano Vitale, themed on the sky ▲ ‘Dandelion’ by Hirayama Kazuko, themed on the land ▲ ‘Sea of Tears’ by Seo Hyun, themed on the sea ▲ ‘Puppy Star’ by Kwak Su-jin, themed on the stars, among various other titles.
Kim Se-hoon, director of Gupo Library, said, “I hope this picture book exhibition will serve as an opportunity to inspire diverse imaginations among local children.”
