Volunteer Activities Begin March 2 After Interviews and Training
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan Museum will publicly recruit new volunteers from January 30 to February 3 to provide high-quality exhibition guide services and increase the satisfaction of visitors to the museum.
The work area is 'exhibition guidance,' and the recruited volunteers will be engaged in exhibition hall guidance, maintaining order, and supporting the library and document room guidance and book organization.
Volunteers will receive specialized training and field trip programs, transportation and meal expenses, and Busan Museum publications to provide practical help for personal development and strengthening capabilities as museum workers.
Anyone who is an adult with a strong interest in public service and Korean history and culture and can continuously volunteer on designated dates can apply. Preference will be given to those available for weekend work, those proficient in foreign languages (English, Chinese, Japanese), and those with experience in related institutions.
The recruitment schedule is as follows: ▲ Application submission for 5 days from 9 a.m. on January 30 to 6 p.m. on February 3 ▲ Interview for those who pass the document screening on February 13 (scheduled) ▲ Notification of selected candidates on February 16 ▲ Training for selected candidates from February 20 to 21 ▲ Final successful candidates announcement on February 24 (scheduled) ▲ Volunteer activities start on March 2.
Applications and submitted documents must be sent only by email or mail. Only documents that arrive by the deadline will be accepted.
