What Is the Secret Behind the Consecutive Successes of Mapo-gu Public Relations Department?
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) Public Relations Media Division has had a cause for celebration.
The Public Relations Media Division, led by Director Song In-su, recently saw Media Team Leader Kwon Yoon-young promoted to Grade 5 within six months of appointment and assigned as Acting Yeomni-dong Chief. Acting Chief Kwon was promoted after receiving a performance evaluation from the Audit Division.
Since her appointment, Chief Kwon was recognized for successfully handling major issues such as the establishment of the Seoul Recycling Center, working closely with Director Song.
Kwon’s successor as Acting Chief is Team Leader Lee Ki-yeon, formerly of the Autonomous Administration Division’s Dong Office Management Team.
Additionally, Section Chief Han Seung-hee was appointed as Head of the Media Channel Team in the Public Relations Division.
Following this, Assistant Manager Jeong Im-young was honored with a promotion to Grade 6 (Section Chief). Jeong is noted as the second press assistant with experience and is regarded as Mapo-gu’s representative press assistant.
Meanwhile, former Public Relations Director Nam Seon-ok, who served as Public Relations Director during the 8th local government term, was promoted to Director of Digital Finance in the Planning and Budget Division.
On the other hand, former Media Team Leader Shin Nam-jae has returned as Head of the Administrative Support Team.
The consecutive positive evaluations of these public relations personnel are interpreted as a result of Mayor Park Gang-su, a former journalist, showing consideration in personnel matters for hardworking employees.
This also reflects the evaluation of Director Song In-su, a former media team leader, who was promoted to Grade 5 and transferred to Seoul City, gaining experience in a larger environment before returning to actively fulfill his role as Public Relations Director.
