[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) visited the Muan-eup traditional market on the 19th to conduct a promotional campaign for the Hometown Love Donation Program in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to the county on the 20th, the campaign was organized to promote the first step of Muan Love, the Hometown Love Donation Program, and to foster a culture of voluntary donations, with the participation of the Nonghyup Muan-gun branch, which serves as the face-to-face reception center for the Hometown Love Donation Program.

In particular, promotional banners were posted at the bus terminal and major arterial roads, and leaflets were placed in restaurants, tourist information centers, and village halls to inform hometown visitors during the Lunar New Year holiday about the Hometown Love Donation Program.
The Hometown Love Donation Program is designed to redistribute tax revenue concentrated in the metropolitan area, and the collected donations are expected to play an important role in the development of Muan by being used to improve residents' welfare.
Anyone whose address is not in Muan can also donate through the Hometown Love e-um website, and donors can receive benefits such as tax deductions (full deduction up to 100,000 KRW) and thank-you gifts (30% of the donation amount).
Thank-you gifts include Muan Love gift certificates, agricultural product packages, Korean beef, Korean pork, rice, seaweed, onion beverages, onion juice, cabbage juice, sweet potatoes, and garlic, which will be delivered to donors.
Governor Kim San said, “Since the Hometown Love Donation Program was implemented to respond to local extinction, the precious donations from donors will become the cornerstone of Muan-gun’s development,” and added, “We hope for active participation and interest from residents and hometown visitors during the Lunar New Year holiday.”
