Dongmyeong University Holds Workshop to Strengthen Employment Support Capabilities for Faculty and Staff
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongmyung University recently held a workshop to increase employment rates and strengthen the employment support capabilities of faculty and staff related to employment.
The workshop was conducted by Shin Dong-seok, Director of the University Job Center, and took place over one night and two days from January 12 to 13, with about 30 participants including professors in charge of employment and professors focused on industry-academia cooperation.

The attendees discussed the university's own employment rate survey analysis and ways to improve employment rates, shared know-how through presentations of excellent employment rate cases, and also held a special lecture on changes in employment trends in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
According to the 2021 publicly announced employment rate released by the Korea Educational Development Institute (KEDI) on the 6th, Dongmyung University had an employment rate of 66.2%, the highest among private universities with more than 1,000 graduates in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions.
