CJ Logistics Expands 'Customized Health Checkups' for Delivery Workers
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] CJ Logistics is adding various screening options to its customized health checkup program to help delivery workers, who are self-employed, manage their health more proactively.
On the 19th, CJ Logistics announced that it will expand its ‘2030 Customized Health Checkup Program’ by additionally supporting a ‘Health Checkup Center Visit Service’ alongside the existing ‘On-site Health Checkup Service’ for self-employed delivery workers.
About 20,000 delivery workers can receive a comprehensive health checkup free of charge every year through the customized health checkup program, which includes more than 60 different tests such as diabetes, kidney disease, liver fibrosis, and liver function tests. For convenience, professional medical institutions visit delivery sub-terminals scattered nationwide to conduct the checkups, which has been well received by delivery workers.
After the health checkup, a systematic follow-up management system based on the test results is also operated. If classified as a high-risk group based on the results, the ‘In-depth Health Checkup Service’ is provided, allowing workers to receive detailed examinations at hospitals without bearing the cost of the tests.
Additionally, based on health checkup records, a free health consultation service is offered, providing professional medical staff consultations ranging from basic health counseling to musculoskeletal disorder prevention and cerebrovascular disease counseling.
Starting this year, the existing health checkup program will also include the ‘Health Checkup Center Visit Service.’ If delivery workers are unable to receive the ‘On-site Health Checkup’ due to personal circumstances, they can now visit a health checkup center directly according to their preferred schedule.
In particular, a leave cost support system has been established to help delivery workers receive checkups more conveniently by compensating for leave expenses when they take time off from delivery work to visit the health checkup center.
