National Cancer Center Designated as Model Training Hospital for Medical Imaging Quality Management

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] The National Cancer Center announced on the 19th that it recently obtained the ‘Model Training Hospital Certification for Medical Imaging Quality Management’ from the Korean Society of Radiology. The certification period is three years, from this month until December 2025.
The Model Training Hospital Certification for Medical Imaging Quality Management is a system organized by the Korean Society of Radiology to evaluate training hospitals that effectively implement quality management to establish a quality management system for specialized medical equipment. The Department of Radiology at the National Cancer Center was designated as a model training hospital after receiving satisfactory evaluations in equipment, personnel, facilities, safety management, interpretation, and infection control for specialized medical equipment including ▲Computed Tomography (CT) ▲Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) ▲and breast imaging.
