Provided When Traveling Between Korea and Vietnam
Park Hang-seo, who led the Vietnam national football team, received a "Vietnam Airlines Lifetime Business Class Seat" gift.
On the 18th, according to local media such as Vietnam VTC, Vietnam Airlines presented Park Hang-seo and his wife with tickets that allow lifetime use of business class seats on flights between Korea and Vietnam.
Vietnam Airlines stated on Facebook that day, "This is a token of gratitude for the hard work, dedication, glory, and victories that Coach Park Hang-seo has shown so far."
Coach Park took the helm of the Vietnam national team in October 2017. Since then, he led Vietnam to the semifinals of the Asian Games for the first time, the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup, qualification for the final round of the World Cup qualifiers, and their first victory in that stage.
He also achieved successes such as winning the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Championship and the Southeast Asian Games football gold medal.
The AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup final against Thailand held on the 16th was his last match as Vietnam’s coach. Vietnam lost 0-1 and finished as runners-up.
Coach Park said, "I am grateful to the players who gave their best. It is painful to say goodbye, but where there is a meeting, there must be a parting."
