WalkOn is a mobile app that encourages walking, and any Mokpo citizen can participate.
According to the city on the 18th, participation in the challenge requires △ installing the WalkOn app △ joining the official Mokpo City community △ selecting 'Reserve' or 'Participate' on the challenge screen, then carrying a smartphone while walking.
The city plans to operate a walking challenge every month. The first challenge in January is being held from the 16th to the 31st for 16 days, aiming to achieve 80,000 steps. Among the citizens who achieve the goal, 120 will be selected by lottery to receive a mobile gift certificate worth 5,000 won.
