[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province held a 'Seolnal Traditional Market Shopping Event' on the 18th ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The event was attended by Lee Sang-geun, the county governor, Jeong Jeom-sik, member of the National Assembly, Choi Eul-seok, chairman of the Goseong County Council, Baek Su-myeong, provincial council member, county council members, and related organizations and groups. They visited Goseong Market and Goseong Dinosaur Market to jointly support revitalizing the local economy.

In particular, Governor Lee encouraged the merchants of the traditional markets while shopping, highlighting the purpose of revitalizing the local economy.
The traditional market merchants said in unison, "Thanks to the mutual support fund for residents provided before Seolnal, the market has been lively for the first time in a long while," adding, "We have faced difficult situations such as COVID-19, rising prices, and economic recession, but we are grateful for the efforts to inject dynamism into the local economy through the residents' support fund and shopping events."
