Until now, Chungnam was an area without a designated regional cancer center. Dankook University Hospital has invested in cancer treatment infrastructure by securing 250 cancer beds and equipping state-of-the-art medical devices when it newly established the cancer center in April last year.
The hospital designated as a regional cancer center will receive an annual support of about 400 million KRW in total, including 200 million KRW for the project and 200 million KRW for the Regional Cancer Survivorship Integrated Support Center project.
