The number of new cases on this day decreased by 19,825 compared to 60,024 cases reported a week earlier on the 10th. This marks the third consecutive week of decline based on Tuesday's data. The health authorities believe that the number of confirmed cases has passed its peak and is now entering a downward phase.
Among the new cases, 95 were imported from overseas, an increase of 31 from the previous day's 64 cases.
The number of critically ill patients currently hospitalized is 503, down by 7 from the previous day.
There were 30 additional COVID-19 related deaths reported, bringing the total death toll to 33,019, with a fatality rate of 0.11%.
