'Golf Enthusiast' Henny: "Maximum Driving Distance is 300 Yards"

Actor Daniel Henney (USA, photo) proudly showed his exceptional love for golf.
Henney attended the 'Carbonwood 2023 Launch Show' held on the 11th at Gabitseom in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul as a promotional ambassador for TaylorMade golf clubs. Henney said with a bright smile, "My ideal type is a woman who plays golf," adding, "I don't just like golf, I love it." He started holding a golf club at the age of 10 and began playing golf seriously in 2014. Henney joked, "I've been playing for 10 years," and "If I hit well, I can drive 300 yards."
He also fulfilled his role as a TaylorMade 'informer' perfectly. Henney praised, "I tried the new product, the Stealth 2 driver, and the amount of spin definitely decreased, which increased the distance," adding, "The forgiveness, speed, and sound are all excellent." He continued, "In the case of missed shots, most of them hit the toe causing hooks, but the tendency to curve left has definitely reduced," and evaluated it as "a club with the advantage of going straight and far."
Henney is an actor active in both Korea and the United States. He worked as a model from 2001 and became known in the Korean entertainment industry by appearing in the 2005 drama 'My Name is Kim Sam-soon.' He made a strong impression in the 2007 film 'My Father' and the American drama series 'Criminal Minds' starting in 2017. Last year, he gave a passionate performance as FBI agent Jack, an overseas-based character, in the film 'Confidential Assignment 2: International.'

Henney has appeared in advertisements for Coca-Cola, LG Electronics, SK Telecom, Hyundai Securities, HiteJinro, McDonald's, Cadillac, and Cuckoo, among others. Since 2014, he has been a model for the popular golf wear brand Wide Angle. Henney has received several awards including the MBC Drama Awards Newcomer Award in 2005, the Best New Actor Award at the 28th Blue Dragon Film Awards in 2007 and the 45th Grand Bell Awards in 2008, the Star Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival in 2009, and the Popular Star Award at the 43rd Blue Dragon Film Awards last year. In 2008, he was appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
