The number of new cases decreased by 5,698 compared to the previous day (60,041). Compared to a week ago on the 4th (78,554), it decreased by 24,211. The number of confirmed cases has been declining for three consecutive weeks on Wednesday counts, showing a trend of decreasing case numbers recently.
The number of imported cases increased by 33 from the previous day (87) to 120.
The number of critically ill patients hospitalized was 540, an increase of 1 from the previous day. The number of critically ill patients has remained in the 500s for seven consecutive days.
There were 76 new COVID-19 related deaths. The cumulative death toll is 32,745, with a fatality rate of 0.11%.
