Strengthening Two Major Business Pillars under Dual CEO System Announced
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Pyeonghwa] DB HiTek has begun restructuring its business by recruiting experienced professionals across various sectors in its two main business divisions: the Foundry Division and the Brand Division. Following the appointment of separate CEOs for each division at the start of the new year, the company is making swift efforts to secure practical momentum for business expansion.
DB HiTek is currently recruiting experienced employees this month for both the Foundry Division and the Brand Division, which handles fabless (semiconductor design) business. They are hiring for various positions across nine sectors in the Foundry Division and five sectors in the Brand Division. Applications are currently being accepted, with plans to select successful candidates through subsequent interview processes.
In the Foundry Division, which undertakes contract manufacturing of semiconductors related to power management, audio, and image sensors (CIS), the company is recruiting experienced professionals in technical roles such as ▲BCD device development ▲BCD-based embedded non-volatile memory (eNVM) development ▲CIS pixel development, as well as positions supporting overseas business in Japan, the Americas, and Europe.
In the Brand Division, which designs and supplies semiconductor chips for displays such as display driver ICs (DDI), the company is recruiting for roles including ▲liquid crystal display (LCD) circuit design ▲mobile display digital interface (MDDI) circuit design ▲layout design. The required experience ranges from a minimum of 2 years up to 7 years, depending on the position.
DB HiTek explained that this experienced recruitment is being conducted on an irregular basis. A DB HiTek representative stated, "We have been conducting experienced hires on an ongoing basis," adding, "This recruitment is being carried out based on the needs of the current business operations."
Earlier, DB HiTek implemented a generational change and established a dual-CEO system as part of its New Year’s organizational changes. Longtime leader Vice Chairman Choi Chang-sik took on the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while President Jo Gi-seok and President Hwang Gyu-cheol were newly appointed to oversee the Foundry Division and Brand Division, respectively. Additionally, two new executive directors at the managing director level were appointed in each division.
