Consumer Agency Produces Video Content to Prevent Overseas Direct Purchase Damage
Gyeonggi G-Bus Broadcast on YouTube Channel and More
On the 6th, the Korea Consumer Agency announced that it has distributed five video contents containing cases of damage and precautions related to suspected scam sites, overseas direct purchases of clothing, shoes, and airline tickets, and overseas purchasing agencies.
The videos for consumers include major damage cases, precautions, and how to file complaints on the International Transaction Consumer Portal if harmed. The videos for overseas purchasing agency operators were filmed in the form of expert interviews discussing key legal provisions that operators are less aware of.
The Consumer Agency, along with Seoul City, Incheon City, and Gyeonggi Province, is broadcasting the videos through various channels such as Gyeonggi G Bus and Incheon CGV. They are also available on the Consumer Agency’s YouTube channel and social networking services (SNS).
