Ulsan City Recruits 137 Members for the 9th Living Policy Participation Group
Apply by January 18, Participate in Online and Offline Activities for 2 Years
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City is publicly recruiting the "9th Living Empathy Policy Participation Group," which will discover life policies that resonate with citizens and participate in various policy monitoring activities.
The number of recruits is 137, and any Ulsan citizen who can use the internet and computers and is able to participate in policy field activities and volunteer work offline can apply.
Applications can be submitted through the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's On-Gukmin Communication website from January 9 to 18. New participants will be given priority selection to expand citizen participation opportunities and reflect more diverse opinions in policies.
The selection results will be announced on January 31 through the On-Gukmin Communication website.
Those selected for the Living Empathy Policy Participation Group will discover and propose living empathy policies as needed for two years from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025, and participate in national or municipal field monitoring, sharing, and volunteer activities.
Outstanding proposers will receive quarterly incentives as well as opportunities for government and mayoral awards.

An official from Ulsan City said, "Small but valuable ideas in daily life can gather and develop into policies that lead to citizens' empathy and happiness," and added, "We ask for active citizen participation so that various living empathy policies can be discovered."
