Yeosu Gwangyang Port Corporation Successfully Completes Employee Healing Program
Experience Craft Programs for Promoting Mental Health
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Seonghyun, YGPA) announced that it operated a healing program for employees and workers of partner companies a total of five times until the 5th.
This program, prepared to protect workers threatened by job stress, was promoted by reflecting the high satisfaction of employees with the healing program conducted last year and the opinions of the worker representatives of the Industrial Safety and Health Committee.
Employees of YGPA and Yeosu Gwangyang Port Management Co., Ltd. who participated in the program expressed satisfaction, saying that they were able to relieve work stress and feel a sense of accomplishment in the process of making works directly through this leather craft experience, and that it helped strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two companies.
A YGPA official said, “We plan to continuously operate various programs to promote workers' health, and we will strive to realize ESG management through the creation of a safe and happy port for workers and the public.”
