The integrated Korea Pavilion at CES 2023, held over four days from the 5th to the 8th (local time), involves 12 organizations including KOTRA. It supports 91 companies, including 77 companies in the Eureka Park and 14 companies in the National Pavilion.
Among the companies participating in the integrated Korea Pavilion, 10 companies with 11 products received the Innovation Award from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for competitive SMEs and startups to attract buyer investments.
Yoo Jung-yeol, President of KOTRA, said, "CES 2023 is not only a great opportunity to discover business partners but also to learn about global trends," adding, "KOTRA will actively support Korean innovative companies in showcasing their innovative technologies to global buyers and building business partnerships."
Earlier, on the 4th, KOTRA held a 'Local Expert Invitation Seminar.' Speakers included the head of the industry analysis team at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) in the U.S. and the CEO of Strong Ventures, a venture capital (VC) firm in Los Angeles. They provided information on the outlook for the U.S. consumer electronics market and cases of Korean startups entering the market.
