"Come to Gyeongsan New Year's Concert" ... Jang Sa-ik, Oh Jeong-hae, Kim Dan-hee to Perform
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gu Daeseon] Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk Province, will hold the ‘2023 Kkotpida Gyeongsan New Year Concert’ at 5 p.m. on February 4th at Yeungnam University Cheonma Art Center.
Marking the Year of the Rabbit, this performance wishes for all New Year hopes and desires to come true. Popular sorikkun Jang Sa-ik, the star of Seopyeonje Oh Jeong-hae, and Kim Dan-hee, winner of the Folk Song Master Award, will appear, along with a performance by the Yeongnam Gugak Orchestra, the Eom Seon-min Soul Dance Troupe, and Norigwangdae in this concert.
Jang Sa-ik, a sorikkun representing the voice of the common people, will sing songs such as ‘Jjillekkot’ and ‘Bomnal-eun Ganda’ in his own deep and mature singing style.

Oh Jeong-hae, a gugak artist, broadcaster, and actor, will perform ‘Sangju Arirang’ and ‘Mokpo-ui Nunmul,’ while Kim Dan-hee, winner of the Grand Prize in the Folk Song Master category at the Sejong National Gugak Competition, will sing ‘Monggeumpo Taryeong’ and a Seodo folk song suite. With the accompaniment of the Yeongnam Gugak Orchestra, the concert promises a rich stage to enjoy traditional Korean melodies.
