This event was planned to introduce the Lotte Hi-Mart VR store, unveiled at CES 2023, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, to general consumers. Thirty-two private brand (PB) Hi-Made products featured in the VR store will be sold at limited quantities with discounts of up to 30%.
The VR store is a virtual store implemented in the metaverse space "Hub World," developed by Caliberus, a subsidiary of Lotte Information & Communication. The interior is divided into five zones: large home appliances, kitchen appliances, household appliances, IT, and leisure. Visitors can see large appliances such as washing machines and TVs in spaces featuring beautiful natural images like the ocean and aurora.
Clicking on individual products allows users to view detailed descriptions. Some products even offer special shopping experiences, such as consultations with virtual appliance advisors. The version released this time is a demo version, with the official service launch planned for the end of this year.
