Musical 'Mamma Mia!' to Perform at Chungmu Art Center Starting March 24
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The musical 'Mamma Mia!' will take the stage at the Chungmu Art Center Grand Theater from March 24 to June 25. This marks the first performance in three years since the scheduled encore in Seoul in 2020 was canceled due to COVID-19.
New members have joined the cast. Kim Hwan-hee and Choi Tae-i (playing Sophie), Kim Kyung-sun (playing Rosie), Jang Hyun-sung (playing Sam), Min Young-gi (playing Harry), Kim Jin-su, and Song Il-guk (playing Bill) have joined the existing members after surpassing 1,600 competitors.

It has been performed in 450 cities worldwide, in 50 productions, and in 16 languages. The cumulative audience number reaches 65 million, with ticket sales totaling 4 billion dollars (approximately 5.136 trillion won). In Korea, since its first performance on January 17, 2004, it has been performed 1,791 times across 33 regions, attracting 2 million viewers.
