Hampyeong-gun Accepts Applications for Rural Guidance Pilot and Support Projects Until the 31st
48 Projects in 2 Areas: Agricultural Support and Technology Dissemination
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun Agricultural Technology Center is accepting applications for the '2023 Rural Guidance Pilot and Support Project' until the 31st of this month.
According to the county on the 3rd, the support targets include 7 projects in the farming support field such as the 'Long-term Lease Project for Consistent Mechanization in Main Production Areas,' and 39 projects in the technology dissemination field including the 'Single-span Greenhouse Distribution-type Smart Farm Complex Construction Project.'
Applicants must be residents or organizations that meet the application criteria for each project. Farmers wishing to apply should visit the town or township office and the Agricultural Technology Center by the 31st to submit their applications.
Selection of candidates will be finalized through the Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Review Committee in February, after reviewing project plans, feasibility assessments, and on-site investigations of project locations.

A county official stated, "This year, we plan to focus on expanding the base of eco-friendly agriculture such as smart farming and low-carbon farming methods. Additionally, we will continuously promote the dissemination of new agricultural technologies by linking related technical education for farming and livestock households."
