'Just Two Days After Inauguration'... Gang Hyundo, Osan Deputy Mayor, Accused of Bribery

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit announced on the 3rd that they are conducting an investigation into Deputy Mayor Kang Hyun-do's bribery allegations.
Earlier, to secure related evidence, the police conducted a search and seizure of the Suwon Gyeonggi Provincial Government office where Deputy Mayor Kang worked on December 30 of last year.
Deputy Mayor Kang is suspected of accepting bribes from a company in 2015 when he was the head of the Investment Promotion Division at the Gyeonggi Provincial Government.
After analyzing the seized items, the police plan to summon Deputy Mayor Kang as a suspect to verify the facts of the allegations.
