Gachon University, 2023 Regular Admission Competition Rate 6.9 to 1
[Asia Economy (Seongnam) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gachon University announced on the 3rd that the 2023 academic year regular admission application deadline resulted in 10,116 applicants for 1,485 recruitment spots, recording an average competition rate of 6.9 to 1.
Looking at the application status by screening type, for the general screening ▲ Group 'Ga' recruited 479 students with 3,387 applicants, a competition rate of 7.1 to 1 ▲ Group 'Na' recruited 291 students with 1,824 applicants, a competition rate of 6.3 to 1 ▲ Group 'Da' recruited 659 students with 4,750 applicants, a competition rate of 7.2 to 1, respectively.
The College of Medicine's Pre-Medical program had 97 applicants for 15 spots under the general screening, a competition rate of 6.5 to 1; the Korean Medicine Pre-Medical program had 133 applicants for 22 spots, a competition rate of 6.1 to 1; and the Department of Pharmacy had 96 applicants for 15 spots, a competition rate of 6.4 to 1.
The newly established general screening Group 'Ga' Battery Engineering major recruited 17 students with 118 applicants, recording a competition rate of 6.9 to 1.

The announcement of successful candidates will be on the 11th of this month for the CSAT-based screening and on the 4th of next month for the practical skills-based screening.
