Hampyeong Residents Enjoy Free Admission to 'Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Starting this year, residents of Hampyeong County can visit the region's representative tourist attraction, Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park, free of charge.
According to the county on the 2nd, free admission to Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park will be provided to all Hampyeong residents with an address within the county.
This free admission was prepared to allow all residents to freely use the park, thereby enhancing the benefits of living there and fostering pride.
To this end, the county carried out a partial revision of the "Hampyeong County Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park Management and Operation Ordinance" last year and completed the related administrative procedures.
A county official said, "We hope that free admission to the Natural Ecology Park will contribute not only to improving the cultural life of residents but also to revitalizing the tourist site."
Meanwhile, Hampyeong Natural Ecology Park, located in the Daedong-myeon area, is a representative local tourist attraction that preserves and nurtures various endangered animals and plants, and offers exhibition viewing and ecological experiences.

The park consists of three sites: the Natural Ecology Park, the Amphibian and Reptile Ecology Park, and the Daedongje Ecology Park. As of last year, the annual number of visitors surpassed 120,000, establishing it as a representative tourist destination in the region.
