Parangsae Eye Clinic Donates 2 Million Won to Elderly Living Alone
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Parangsae Eye Clinic donated 2 million won to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea for elderly people living alone in the district.
The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Director Im Seontaek of Parangsae Eye Clinic, Directors Kim Changryong, Lee Junsung, Moon Hyeongjin, Kang Yeonsu, and Kim Jingon, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, among other officials.
The donation will be used through the Gwangju Metropolitan City Senior Welfare Association to provide kimchi and side dishes to elderly people who have difficulty working and moving, so they can have a warm winter.
Director Im Seontaek of Parangsae Eye Clinic stated, “Parangsae Eye Clinic will continue to support our community neighbors in need to have a warm winter.”
Kim Jingon, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, said, “We sincerely thank the directors for their consistent practice of sharing,” and added, “We will continue to strive to improve the quality of life for elderly people in the district and to serve as a social safety net.”
