Changwon Special City formed the Changwon City Tap Water Management Public-Private Council for the safe supply of tap water on the 29th and held its first meeting.

At the first meeting, the appointment ceremony of the council members, the election of the chairman, and detailed discussions on the operation plan of the public-private council were conducted.
The Tap Water Management Public-Private Council consists of a total of 11 members: three members each from civic groups and experts, and five public officials including the head of the Waterworks Office. The appointed members will serve as council members for two years starting from January 1 of next year.
The council will hold regular meetings twice a year and convene extraordinary meetings when agenda items arise. The members will perform roles such as monitoring water quality from the inflow raw water to the purified water stage and making recommendations for facility improvements to ensure the safe supply of tap water.
