Golfzon County Donates 180 Million Won in Cash and Goods to Help Neighbors

Golfzon County Cheongtong donated 12 million KRW and 200 heads of kimchi to Yeongcheon City on the 20th at the Cheongtong-myeon Administrative Welfare Center in Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongbuk, to help vulnerable groups, and is taking a commemorative photo.

Golfzon County announced on the 28th that it has donated neighborly aid funds and goods worth 180 million KRW to help vulnerable groups in 17 regions nationwide where the company operates golf courses.
The funds were raised through the '2022 Happy Companion Donation Campaign.' This money will be used to support vulnerable groups in local communities through city halls, county offices, and administrative welfare centers located in areas where Golfzon County operates golf courses. At Golfzon County Cheongtong, about 20 employees and caddies volunteered to deliver 200 heads of kimchi, carefully prepared with sincerity.
Golfzon County's Happy Companion Donation Campaign began in 2013 with the spirit of coexistence and cooperation with local communities, as well as sharing and caring for neighbors in need during the year-end and New Year holidays. Over the past 10 years, the campaign has been held annually, donating a total of 620 million KRW to local communities.
In April, Golfzon County Gyeongnam conducted donation activities in celebration of Children's Day. In July, Golfzon County Jincheon donated 350 boxes of daily necessities kits to Jincheon County Office to support vulnerable groups. In October, Golfzon County Muju delivered 15 million KRW in development funds to its jurisdictional area.
