According to the agreement, the two institutions will strengthen various industry-academia collaborations, including fostering future SW talent, promoting and operating SW creation contests, mentoring excellent works, special lectures, and developing programs that even non-SW majors can easily participate in.
They also agreed to mutually cooperate to support metaverse SW interdisciplinary major education and jointly operate field training, involving Dongmyung University's Department of Game Engineering, Department of Visual Design, and Department of Digital Contents.
Redbrick is a global startup company operating the metaverse and SW creation platform 'Redbrick'. Recently, it secured an investment of 18 billion KRW.
Since 2018, Dongmyung University has been conducting the SW-Centered University Project, involving the Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Game Engineering, Department of Information Security, AI Department, and Department of Digital Contents, aiming to nurture SW convergence talents to lead the 4th Industrial Revolution era.
