[Weather] Nationwide Severe Cold Continues on Monday... Morning Low of 17 Degrees
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] On Monday the 26th, the entire country will experience severe cold, with cloudy skies that are expected to gradually clear from night.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted morning low temperatures of -17 to 0 degrees Celsius and daytime highs of -1 to 9 degrees Celsius.
On Ulleungdo and Dokdo, snow accumulation of 1 to 5 cm and 5 to 20 mm respectively is expected until daytime on the 27th.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good to Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion. However, the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong region are expected to experience temporarily 'Unhealthy' levels in the morning.
The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "As severe cold continues nationwide, caution is needed for icy roads and frozen surfaces in snow-covered areas."
