Hampyeong-gun Designates 4 Franchise Stores for 'Comprehensive Dementia Safety Network' 구축
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun Public Health Center is operating ‘Dementia Safe Franchise Stores’ to establish a dense dementia safety net.
On the 23rd, according to the county, four locations including Ministop Hampyeong Branch, Taepyeongyang Pharmacy, Ministop Nasan Branch, and GS25 Wolya Branch were designated as Dementia Safe Franchise Stores, and a plaque presentation ceremony was held.
‘Dementia Safe Franchise Stores’ refer to businesses that actively participate in promotional activities to improve dementia awareness.
When an individual business applies for franchise designation, after qualification verification, all employees of the establishment must complete dementia partner training.
Designated franchise stores carry out various activities such as encouraging early dementia screening for residents visiting the store, promoting dementia awareness improvement, and providing information on registering with the Dementia Safety Center.
The county plans to promote various dementia prevention projects by establishing a mutual cooperation system with Dementia Safe Franchise Stores, including ▲ dementia overcoming campaigns and awareness improvement projects ▲ dementia partner volunteering ▲ dementia information exchange and education.
