Win·Winter Festival Event Achieves 300 Billion KRW Sales in Just 6 Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The domestic consumption promotion event 'Midwinter Companion Festival Win·Winter Festival' achieved sales of 300 billion KRW just six days after it began.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 23rd that the Win·Winter Festival, which started on the 16th, recorded total sales of 300.2 billion KRW over six days, combining 213.1 billion KRW online and 87.1 billion KRW offline.
The Win·Winter Festival involves more than 47,000 companies across 215 online and offline channels, including internet malls such as Coupang, Wemakeprice, Gmarket, TV home shopping, and traditional markets.
Regarding Onnuri gift certificates in paper form, 513.8 billion KRW worth were sold during the special sales period from the 1st to the 16th of this month, with an additional 10.1 billion KRW sold by the 21st, bringing the cumulative sales for December to 523.9 billion KRW.
