Man in His 40s Booked on Charges of Special Injury
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man who injured a colleague by wielding a weapon, suspecting embezzlement, is under police investigation.
On the 23rd, according to a comprehensive report by Asia Economy, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul has booked a man in his 40s, Mr. A, on charges of special assault and is investigating.
Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon and injuring a man in his 40s, Mr. B, at a villa in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 2 a.m. on the 21st.
They are known to have been business partners. Suspecting his colleague of embezzlement, Mr. A reportedly visited Mr. B's house after drinking, got into an argument, and committed the crime.
Mr. B sustained injuries to his head and arm but is reported to be in no life-threatening condition.
Mr. A fled the scene immediately after the incident but later appeared at the police station for questioning. He is reported to have admitted to the charges during the investigation.

A police official stated, "We are determining the exact circumstances of the incident, including the motive," and added, "Further investigation will continue."
