[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang County Council in Jeollanam-do announced on the 22nd that it closed the 316th Damyang County Council 2nd Regular Meeting after the 4th plenary session on the 21st, concluding this year's legislative schedule.
During this regular meeting, deliberations and resolutions were made on ▲the 3rd supplementary budget proposal ▲2022 administrative audit ▲county administration questions ▲2023 budget proposal ▲and ordinances.
At the 2nd plenary session on the 1st, council members Park Junyeop, Choi Yongho, Jeong Cheolwon, and Lee Gibum raised 11 county administration questions to the executive branch, while council member Jo Gwanhun submitted written inquiries.
From the 2nd to the 8th, an administrative audit was conducted on overall county administration this year, pointing out a total of 176 cases (65 improvements, 109 recommendations, 2 data requests) and demanding improvements accordingly.
In the 2023 main budget review, unnecessary and wasteful factors were closely examined in areas such as overseas training, budgets lacking support grounds, improvement of operating public institutions, and county administration publicity.
