Discovering Online Promotion and Policy Ideas Over 3 Months
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Autonomous Police Committee has concluded the activities of the ‘3rd Youth Supporters 112,’ who led online promotion and policy idea discovery in the field of autonomous police.
According to Gwangju Autonomous Police on the 22nd, the ‘3rd Youth Supporters 112’ conducted online promotions by posting and sharing more than 3,000 times over three months since September 14, including card news and videos about the introduction of the autonomous police system, personal mobility device safety rules, voice phishing crimes, and digital sex crime prevention methods.
Last month, as part of the ‘Gwangju Crime Safety Bitdeulim Promotion Plan’ aimed at protecting women and socially vulnerable groups, they also conducted an online campaign to prevent digital sex crimes timed with the production of the ‘Crime Prevention Guide’ booklet.
In addition, they proposed 40 ideas for public safety policies under the jurisdiction of the autonomous police and produced eight creative promotional materials, fulfilling their role as a communication channel with citizens.
The Gwangju Autonomous Police Committee plans to issue certificates of completion to youth supporters who participated in more than five activities.
They also plan to conduct evaluations and satisfaction surveys on the 3rd term activities to seek more efficient supporter operation methods.
Kim Taebong, Chairman of the Gwangju Autonomous Police Committee, said, “We appreciate the active activities and participation of the 3rd Youth Supporters. As we enter the second year of the autonomous police system, we will do our best to provide field-centered public safety services that communicate with citizens.”
