Assemblyman Kim Young-sun Secures 1.7 Billion KRW Special Grant from Ministry of the Interior for Changwon Uichang-gu
Expansion of Facilities for Local Issues and Disaster Projects and Improvement of Residential Environment
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Song Jong-gu] Assemblyman Kim Young-seon secured 1.7 billion KRW in special grants from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, which is expected to significantly contribute to the safety and convenience of residents by enabling flexible progress of local pending projects in Uichang-gu.
Assemblyman Kim said, "I hope that securing the special grants will provide some comfort to the residents during these exhausting and difficult times due to COVID-19," adding, "The special grants secured this time are the result of thoroughly explaining the local long-standing projects several times to the Changwon city officials along with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in November."
The confirmed special grants this time include: ▲ 200 million KRW for environmental improvement of children's facilities in 9 urban parks ▲ 300 million KRW for installation of household warning and alarm facilities in 8 villages of Daesan, Dong-eup, and Buk-myeon ▲ 400 million KRW for maintenance of the tennis courts at Dogye Sports Park ▲ 300 million KRW for replacement of old security lights in residential areas of Pallyong-dong ▲ 200 million KRW for maintenance of damaged drainage channels around 1562-6, Hwayang-ri, Dong-eup ▲ 300 million KRW for maintenance of the old Susan Bridge railings.
